[6] At first, the man is still near the enemy. This<br \/>\ncloseness makes him somewhat vulnerable. But if he remains quiet, he will in<br \/>\nall likelihood be ignored. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>2. [6] Some of the inferior forces will not be put off; they<br \/>\npersist and demand attention. But such inferior individuals really seek a more<br \/>\nconstructive engagement, and the superior man accommodates them. [9] Being prevented from withdrawal by the insistence of<br \/>\ncertain opposing individuals is a hindrance and an annoyance. But by making use<br \/>\nof these otherwise opposing individuals, the man can continue with his<br \/>\nwithdrawal, even if they are of little real assistance to him. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>4. [9] In <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaeclatdotcom.blogspot.com\/2019\/08\/good-morning.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">taking his leave<\/a> from the fray, the superior man<br \/>\nacts on his own volition, without antagonism or animosity. This is no problem<br \/>\nfor him, because his position is not diminished one bit. But the inferior<br \/>\nopponent is not so well situated: without the structure and significance<br \/>\nprovided to the conflict by the superior man, the inferior man is left with<br \/>\nnothing but his own inferiority to contemplate. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>5. [9] When the time for withdrawal arrives, the superior<br \/>\nman acts forthwith. Nevertheless, because his actions arise from his own<br \/>\ninitiative, and not as a direct response to the actions of his opponents, he<br \/>\ncan be kind and generous about it. Still, having determined the proper time for<br \/>\nwithdrawal, he is compelled to stick to it and not be deterred by trivialities.<br \/>\n<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>6.
