[9] <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaeclatdotcom.blogspot.com\/2019\/06\/today-remember-opposition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Opposition<\/a> cannot be eliminated by force, because<br \/>\nthat only causes the opposition to become indignant and entrenched. Given time,<br \/>\na person of good intent will gradually come around and accept areas of small<br \/>\nagreement. Similarly, persons of evil intent, if endured, will gradually lose<br \/>\ninterest and go away. However, neither will respond to force, except to become<br \/>\nmore difficult. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>2. [9] When opposition causes persons to divide<br \/>\nirreconcilably on an issue of mutual concern, no direct action can help. But a<br \/>\ncasual meeting, devoid of intent, may lead to the beginning of an agreement if,<br \/>\nindeed, both parties have a need for one another. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>3. [6] If first attempts at reconciling the opposition<br \/>\nresult in humiliating rejection, one should not despair. Dedication and loyalty<br \/>\nin the face of it all will be rewarded, and the problems will eventually be<br \/>\nresolved. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>4. [9] When a person is absolutely alone in the stand he has<br \/>\ntaken, he will not be able to make any progress. But if he meets a kindred<br \/>\nspirit who will side with and support him, he should by all means join forces<br \/>\nwith him. With such a helper on whom to test his ideas, he can make progress<br \/>\nand avoid making mistakes. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>5. [6] Isolated by opposition, a man builds an impenetrable<br \/>\nwall around himself for protection. But anyone who will take the trouble to<br \/>\nbreak through that wall in order to pledge support is surely someone who can be<br \/>\ntrusted. The man makes no mistakes when he agrees to join forces with such a<br \/>\nhelper. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>6. [9] A man becomes paranoid when he is beset by widespread<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/mediaeclatdotcom.blogspot.com\/2021\/09\/hexagram-38-opposing-refocus-your-life.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opposition<\/a>. He misjudges even the good intentions of potential supporters and<br \/>\nis suspicious of all friendly acts.
