The upper trigram is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yijing.nl\/trigrams\/52-gen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gen<\/a>: bound or mountain.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<span><b>B. The Judgment<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp;1. Decrease combined with sincerity&nbsp;<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Brings about supreme good fortune<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Without blame. One may be persevering in this.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; <\/span>&nbsp;2. It furthers one to undertake something. How is this to be carried out?<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;One may use two small bowls for the sacrifice.<br \/>\n<span><br \/><\/span><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h3>\n<span>C. The Image<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span><br \/>\n&nbsp; 1. At the foot of the mountain, the lake:<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; a) The image of Decrease.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; b) Thus the superior man controls his anger<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;And restrains his instincts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\n<span><br \/>\n<b>II. My interpretation<\/b>&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<h3>\nA. &#8220;Diminishing&#8221;<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\nThere is as noted by this hexagram loss, given the situation<br \/>\nas it is. According to the conditions of the time, it is fitting that the strong<br \/>\nshould be <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaeclatdotcom.blogspot.com\/2022\/10\/41-decrease.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>diminished<\/b><\/a>, and that of the weak be strengthened. With this we are<br \/>\nseeking equilibrium which will create harmony and freedom from errors, and<br \/>\nabove all, the superior man should without whim, curb his desires and restrain<br \/>\nhis wrath. <o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nOne man walking alone is good, because if one meets two<br \/>\nothers along the way there will be communications problems when it comes time<br \/>\nto make crucial decisions on the furtherance of the way. One walking alone will<br \/>\nnot so much create doubt about his correctness and which way to proceed. <o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>\nAgain, three men come, one goes and find friends of his<br \/>\nown liking, people who have no reservations about his motives, albeit, if three friends did arrive, where he went, there will be cause for doubt due to the complexity of their friendships.
