Additional interpretations include Fellowship with Men and Gathering Men. the lower trigram is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yijing.nl\/trigrams\/30-li.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Li<\/a>: radiance or fire. The upper trigram is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yijing.nl\/trigrams\/1-qian.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Qian<\/a>: force or heaven.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<span><b>B. The Judgment<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp;1. Fellowship with Men in the open.<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Success.<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp; 2. It furthers one to cross the great water.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The perseverance of the superior man furthers.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<span>C. The Image<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span><br \/>\n&nbsp; 1. Heaven together with fire:<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The image of Fellowship with Men.<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; 2. Thus the superior man organizes the clans<\/span><br \/>\n<span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; And makes distinctions between things.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\n<span><br \/>\n<b>II. My interpretation<\/b>&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<h3>\nA. <span face=\"&quot;proxima nova&quot; , sans-serif\" style=\"background: 0px 0px rgb(255, 255, 255); border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesdekorne.com\/GBCh\/hex13.htm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Fellowship&#8221;<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n&nbsp;With this hexagram, we see a man who for all apparent reasons<br \/>\njoins in fellowship with others who are somewhat not of his kind. He does so because<br \/>\nthey are within close proximity to his dwelling. If he was to limit his<br \/>\nfriendship to that of his closes family ties, there would be cause for regret,<br \/>\nbeing that his social adaptions would be somewhat limited in scope. To take it<br \/>\neven further, to do so would be as the tale of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Allegory_of_the_cave\">The Allegory of the<br \/>\nCave<\/a>\u201d by Plato, signifies. It is the story of a group of people in a cave,<br \/>\nand not knowing what the real world is really all about, like unto an Amazon<br \/>\ntribe out in the wildness but on a different scale. These are the people who are <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Process_philosophy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Becoming<\/a>&nbsp;close net friends out in the open, allegiances.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div>\nIt is the job of the superior man to know what is what and to<br \/>\npoint this out preferably to the people nearby first. To know more one must<br \/>\nextend his or her range of knowledge of prominent current issues, not just<br \/>\nhomegrown knowledge, not to the tune of, we only use chopsticks. Because it is proper to reflect the same when a person is extending their range of knowledge about friendship.&nbsp;<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nIn this passage, we see a call for universal brotherhood ill<br \/>\nregardless of inconsistencies. To serve is to serve.
