\n <\/span>\u201cI exhort therefore, that, first of all
\nsupplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving thanks be made for all men.\u201d
\n\u2013 1 Tim. 2:1 ~ <\/o:p><\/b>
\n
<\/b><\/div>\n
\nOUR dear Heavenly Father, we bring unto Thee our humble
\noffering of gratitude, for all Thy loving kindnesses and tender mercies; so
\ngraciously bestowed upon us, all the days of our life. When yesterday passed
\ninto the night, we committed body and soul into Thy keeping; and Thou didst
\nagain prove, that \u201cHe Who keepeth Isreal will not slumber.\u201d Now a new day is
\nours, — help us to appreciate its significance. It brings to us new
\nopportunities, — help us to see, and to use them. It brings to us new duties,
\n— help us to perform them gladly.<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nMay the love of Jesus, which has touched our lives, touch
\nothers through us to-day. Keep our minds pure, our thoughts and deeds free from
\noffense. May someone who knows not Jesus, be attracted unto Him by us to-day. Strengthen
\nthose that are weak. Comfort those that mourn. Lead every troubled and seeking
\nsoul to light and peace in Jesus. May this day see some prodigal returning to
\nhis Father\u2019s house. And O, our Father, we pray: give wisdom, faithfulness, and
\ncourage, to all who occupy positions of trust and leadership, in church and
\nstate. May they themselves be led by Him who said: \u201cFollow Me<\/a>\"\".\u201d<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nForgive us all our sins, and cleanse us from all
\nunrighteousness. And may \u201cthe Peace of God which passeth all understanding,
\never keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.\u201d Amen<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
