, &quot;serif&quot;; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;times new roman&quot; , &quot;serif&quot;; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">One must first look at the intended goals of the organization, or<br \/>\nbetter yet, where the firm is going with its choice of social media platforms.<br \/>\nThere are three main questions to ponder whenever a firm is in the platform decision<br \/>\nmode and that is in terms of which direction it is going with its social media goals.<br \/>\nThese questions can come in the form of how will the platform increase revenues<br \/>\nfor the company.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;times new roman&quot; , &quot;serif&quot;; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">Next, there is the question of how will the platform lower<br \/>\noverall marketing cost while boosting profits, and lastly, the question of how<br \/>\nwill the platform further enhance the bridge between customer and company?<br \/>\nThese would be the three questions one might want to use when building on what<br \/>\nwould be the most viable direction to take when deciding on a particular social<br \/>\nmedia platform, (Sterne, 2010).<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;times new roman&quot; Within the confines of these two<br \/>\nconcepts, one will find the social media object. Each platform will reflect its<br \/>\ndistinct form of social media objects and quality of content distribution, that<br \/>\nis, depending on the objects of a particular social media platform. These objects are personified by<br \/>\nthe content that is presented within that particular social media network, such<br \/>\nas (the object) network of pictures in Flickr, objects such as videos on<br \/>\nYouTube, an instant Tweet that is put forth on Twitter, in this case, the object<br \/>\nwould be the text message.
