\nINFINITE FATHER,<\/b> Thou art our life and light, our hope and redemption.
\nWe have tried the world and found it a great emptiness; we come back to Thee
\nWho art eager to fill our souls with everlasting truth and mercy.<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nWe come with a song in our hearts, for the list of Thy
\nbenefits is beyond our counting. We thank Thee for the stirring, stimulating
\ndays of the present, with their opportunities for improvement and service,
\ntheir concern for the poor and ignorant. We thank Thee for the mysterious,
\ninviting days which are to come, laden with secret stores for our replenishing,
\nhidden delights, and dark experiences for our training.<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nWe thank Thee for the silent heroisms of the home; for the
\nhallowed drudgeries of hospital and sick chamber. We thank Thee that, despite the
\ncleverness of wicked men and the foolishness of good men, the Kingdom makes
\nsteady advance. Thy bounty unto us is without boundaries. And yet we baffle Thy
\nplans, thwart Thy love, and wander wretchedly from the way of Jesus. We return
\nunto Thee this morning have our stains removed, our petty shams stripped away,
\nand our hearts fortified. Have compassion upon us, and bring us all by and by
\nto our Father\u2019s home, through the riches of graces in Christ Jesus.  <\/span>Amen.<\/o:p><\/div>\n
